Loss/damage to renter’s belongings: he/she is.
You are the owner of the home, so you are responsible for the repair, unless you can prove the tenant caused the damage (in this case it’s a burglary, which I am assuming was not done by your tenant)…
If your tenant had any property stolen or damaged, his/her renter’s insurance is responsible. Hopefully, you demanded your tenant to get renter’s insurance as a condition prior to moving in.
