condogrrl, in response to your question, the most recent Apartment Association magazine has an article which encourages landlords to think twice before automatically turning down potential renters, just because of a foreclosure. If their credit is good otherwise they are not necessarily a bad risk. The title of the article was something about renting to homeless homeowners.
