cashflow: If you’ve ever done any precision shooting, you’d understand. Something very Zen about distance shooting. Controlling your breathing, focusing on a target 500 to 600 yards off and centering yourself before the shot.
Regarding “guns like that”: You can’t legally drive a Ferrari GTO in this country at the speed it really performs, yet they sell them all the same. Guns, regardless of type, are a matter of personal responsibility. I don’t want to get all 2nd Amendment on you, but the government has NO right to ban guns, any more than it has the right to ban free speech (although they’re trying like hell on that one, too).
I don’t hunt, so I don’t much the see the point in either guns or bows and arrows. If you choose to hunt and use the meat following the kill, I somewhat understand. Hunting for sport is just barbaric.
