At the start of the season he said he wasn’t ready to drink the Ariza/Farmar UCLA boys koolaid. And of course I predicted Bynum would get hurt. I’ll admit Farmar isn’t totally back from injury but Ariza has been fantastic. My prediction, lakers vs cleveland, lakers in 6, final answer!
The playoffs start Saturday, what’s with all this geopolitical warspeak, the Padres are off to a great start, Tiger and Phil both gave us a show at Augusta and the Lakers have never looked better, cmon, lets relax a little.
Not so fast my friend. Farmar’s production over this last month has been less than stellar, and Derrick Fisher is aging right in front of our eyes. Plus we have the King. Cavs in 7.
The Sports’ Guy has had some great columns lately. If you like the NBA you have to read Simmons, and I listened to one of his podcasts with Adam Carolla as guest and it was funny as hell.
cardiff, Bill Simmons (aka the sports guy) is required reading, I’m suprised you or someone else hasn’t connected the dots and realized my writing style is a complete rip off of simmons. I’m with you and Bill on Fish and Farmar being in a bit of a slump but simmons is too much of a bostonian to notice shannon. Shannon Brown is the future guard, but for now, Fish gets the respect minutes (who can forget .4 seconds) and Farmar will get his share but that is their only weakenss, the point guard is by committee. In the triangle, the point isn’t that big of a deal anyway.
Still King james is epic, but is mo and company enough, will the tougher road in the east be too much, we shall see, either way, it’s a good thing.
