Can I suggest one other idea – go buy a cheap deisel truck and a trailer. Should the crap hit the fan, you can move wherever you want and be self contained. A generator is nice too – I have a 3500watt Yamaha. Yamaha and Hondas are extremely quiet – and why they’re more expensive – $1500-2000 for a 3500 watt. Traditional generators are very loud and brain rattling – plus they’ll announce your presense!
