Saying “Capitalist” healthcare is only concerned about profits is similar to an anti “socialist” mentality of saying socialist models are only concerned about death beds and providing care to people who can contribute to the system through working. It is a blanket statement. I work for a large health care provider and never once have we sat around at executive meetings discussing ways to ream it to the patient through upselling and unnecessary care. If word got out patients would go one of the many other competitive providers.
I know you guys hate the capitalist system but we do actually care about our patients despite what you may think.
