You’re missing the point. And you’re (again) focusing on mass murders when they’re a very small part of the problem. Your average criminal is less likely to carry around a gun if it’s going to land him in jail for a long time.[/quote]
Certain drugs will land people in jail for a long time. Doesn’t look like it’s stopped anyone from possessing or using drugs (thought it’s made for a hell of a black market and very rich drug lords)…or do you think there are people out there who want to use drugs, but refrain from doing so because “it’s illegal”?[/quote]
I for one would not use drugs even if they were legal, so I see no sense in having drug laws. Everyone sees things differently. I think if people want to eat a grilled cheese sandwich it should be their right to, as long as they are not stealing my cheese sandwich.
