If most of the 2000 sq-ft rental in Carlsbad are around your rental price, then I totally see where you’re coming from. Even 2000 sq-ft 30 year old house in MM rent for around $2300/month. I would have expected similar house in Carlsbad to to rent for around $2800/month at the very least.
