Brian, you are a piece of work. Apparently your world is impressively closed to not realize that the tea party folks (people who desire limited government) span racial, economic, geographic, and cultural divides.
The core message has nothing to do with race, and your insistence on racial, or ignorant, or fear driven motives is without base. Can you really ignore the bigots who can be found calling themselves progressives. You may not see them, but they fill your ranks too rest assured.
There are lots of smart/well reasoned people who are conservative, and lots of smart/well reasoned people who are liberal. The corollary is stupid people outnumber the smart in both parties…
