1) Level economic playing field? How, exactly? And I mean EXACTLY? Through regulation? Better oversight? Give us the facts, man, give us the facts! The plan that Obama is executing was written by Paulson! I’m curious, was there substantial regulation and oversight in place during Clinton’s tenure? You may want to research that one before answering, especially the part about how much of the dot.com wealth was made and who made it (see Frank Quattrone and CSFB, for example).
2) How is Obama “de-emphasizing” the war in Iraq? The combat phase of the war has been over for a while now and plans to augment US forces in Afghanistan have been in motion ever since NATO dropped the ball there a year ago. And, as you yourself have said, these things take time, right? You don’t just move combat brigades in a couple of weeks. The plans for both Iraq and Afghanistan pre-date Obama and by a considerable period.
