I never stated that the Paul residence was of “estate quality.” I only stated that I have seen these types of residences in that area of the country (two which were owned by well-known country music artists who were born and raised in that immediate area) which had … ahem … what you would call “less than average” homes around them.

I’m confused what this has to do with anything. We were talking about Ron Paul’s house which is obviously priced far above the current market there.
Here’s the wiki for Lake Jackson. Wiki always lists any celebrities that are from certain place. RP is it. They did point out that the local Brazosport College’s Music Department has been able to bring many successful music artists to Lake Jackson, including Rita Coolidge, Lyle Lovett, Don McLean, Phil Woods, and John Pizarelli.
