But I see where the inner part of the peninsula (just west of I-280 along the bayfront) is used as tracks thru the Silicon Valley. This seems totally doable.

IF this actually goes through, the whole thing won’t be complete for another 20-30 years. There is talk of the project being canned due to not enough ridership based on the projection.
