Barry, my statement reflected my belief that a rat behaves without guilt. I do not believe humans do, or should, live this way.
In response to WW’s befuddlement at some of the responses here, I have more sympathy for the innocent being punished than the guilty. I doubt I’m alone, though I’m not sure most people would take the time in their busy lives to break it down like that, however. Then again, Kant fans might…
