The tax system is INCREDIBLY regressive right now, not because of marginal rates but because of shelters, exclusions and loopholes.
Explain how the majority of corporations and wealthy individuals doing business in this country are able to book enormous sums of revenue, provide significant compensation to principals and shareholders and avoid paying ANY corporate income tax? As in ZERO tax. Shirking freeloader assholes.
