When all is said and done it will be well under $50/hour while taking the risk that I would get $0 per hour. At least I get tons of paid vacation and employee benefites to balance things out.

To others it is easy to point out the alleged big dollars and simplify things. That is just not the way things work in this business. Sure there area few superstars in this business just like any business (including MLB) but mostly it is people scarping out a living. There are plenty of discount options but for the industry as a whole to work they are not susteainable. Companies like RedFin come and go all the time. What ever happened to IPayOne? Remember those dopes? They had their name on the Sports Arena.
The truth to this business is you work many hours, get paid very infrequently, take calls all hours of the day, get pulled away from family at inopportune times and on. It is not easy to be successful at this and it is not lucrative for the vast majority of those in it.
