It picks up steam slowly, accelerates, slows down, turns. Its direction goes for many years. It is highly illiquid, slow moving. It doesn’t trade like stocks. I completely disagree with you about a dead cat bounce. Since this is a nationnal chart, you would obviously not use it to time the market.
