I think that is a ridiculous notion… Like many other you espouse..
I’ll admit it and I am sure that you are gambling on this very point but I would have slim to nil chance to be accepted. With so many people, in general, looking for a job and San Diego being a military town why would they want to take a 43 year old man into their employ?
I am well past the age of a career change.
When I graduated from college a long time family friend encouraged my to apply to the FBI. He is an agent himself. He has some fantastic stories but the pay coupled with the long hours and family stress were not avenues I wanted to pursue.
So if you had asked back then… I am sure that you would have lost that bet.
The man that spent several years trying to get me to apply had himself been accepted to HRT. The elite of FBI. So… I think he might have thought I was some what capable…
