We grew up with the Miracle of the Meadowlands where Joe Pisarcik unexplicably tried to hand off the ball with seconds left and it was fumbled only to have Herman Edwards scoop it and take it to the endzone for the craziest come from behind win in NFL history. When they knocked down the old stadium they thought they got rid of this curse. They are already calling Sunday’s events The Miracle of the New Meadowlands and the new curse on the stadium.
Ironically Joe Pisarcik ended up as a QB coach for my high school.
