Akbar many times brokerages or agents will contact the listing agent and ask if they can market the listing. What they are trying to do is bring buyers in and then will act as a buyers agent. So that is why you may see alot of peripheral advertising by other agents for listings that they actually do not have. It is legal as long as those agents received authorization from the broker who technically owns the listing.
