Even if WebOS becomes obsolete and there’s no Android port, the device itself will useable for awhile. It has 1.2GHz dual core, wireless N on it and it support HTML5, so you can use it as a media consumption device for awhile. I don’t think it’s a paperweight unless the hardware dies.
