ah ZK. you are correct. he did not say he will definitely pick a minority running mate. He said he “may”….I mistook that as “he will”..
which itself is a problem. I think he should have kept his mouth shut and just said I’m stilling considering the best candidate from all facets of America and left it at that.
personally, I think he pigeon holed himself by making a half firm commitment of picking a woman and trying to appease minorities and mentioning he may pick one for his running mate.
