Ah, you’re helping me face my prejudice. I recoil from CV, mostly because the people I know who live there I experience as stuck up snobs (not enough money to stop them talking about how much they have). Of course that’s not the best measure for determining where to live for the next many years.
Also, my mom lives in PB. It’s a sizeable consideration to have a grandparent nearby, she and my daughter are very important to each other.
BPE is supposed to be great, and is just a few blocks away which is nice while she’s really young. I am perhaps too optimistic that we could get her set up in PB-Middle and MBHS, which parents in the neighborhood are getting very excited about because of the IB program. Those schools sucked when I was there, but parents are starting to sing praises now.
