Agree about Putin’s character. Even in photographs he has a very cold look in his eyes, and if it shows up in photos that’s sayin’ somthing.
Not sure what to think about spending energy and treasure to fend him off of Eastern Europe. On the one hand, it should be done. On the other hand, due to the feckless policies of the last 8 years bankrupting our nation’s treasury, we just can’t afford it. If only the Europeans could band together in that “greater sphere” they keep talking about and stand up for themselves. In aggregate, they are as big as the U.S.
