Nah. We have too many interests around the world and setting ourselves up. Easier to take money from citizens via property tax. All speculation at this point, but I agree w/Mike. Second homes are luxuries for many. Heck, some folks (investors) have many more than second homes. If they can afford multiple homes, they can afford the tax on them. Just seems fitting to take that away to pay for the real estate bailout. Whether TPTB actually do it is another thing.
