@Flu: Absolutely agree that it’s a dog-eat-dog world. Proof: try parking in 99Ranch on a late Sunday morning.
Well, that’s two problems in one.
1)People bring their S500 or 750i or (insert name brand SUV) and try to fit them into spots marked “compact”.
2)Most of those people can’t park correctly, even if the spaces weren’t compact
3)Getting a space is like playing butt-darts..Because you see a spot, you need to just take it (doesn’t matter who was there first). Which leads me to corollary axiom. Bring a shitty car to Ranch 99 and park next to the nicest car you can find there …That or
a) Go saturday morning (since everyone else is @ chinese school), since obviously all the chinese parents are sending their kids there so they can “get ahead”…
b) Or go sunday morning before all the church people finished. (Because obviously, everyone is at church talking about money).
c) Park across the street, in some of the adjacent buildings…Just ignore the signs that says “no Ranch 99 parking”… No one enforces those rules….But make sure you top it off with the ultimate asian thing. Just leave the Ranch 99 cart across the street when you’re done moving your stuff into the car. Because obviously, since you’re already parking where you’re not suppose to, you might was well top it off and leave a shopping cart there to let people know you did it and don’t give a crap and have some ranch 99 employee fetch the cart back….Actually, don’t worry about the that, because chances are someone else that parks there will probably just cart the cart back…So you’re doing the next person a favor….
Because of these thing and because I work down the street the wifey frequently sends me in with the list!
Its funny the looks I get sometimes in there (being whitey and all)…
But dude… You are so on the money about the parking there.
I envision you in a Starbucks…
Writing the next “Harold and Kumar” or “3 Idiots” manuscript!
