The median price in MM is closer to 350k. There are 157 detached listings in MM as of this moment, and only 8 of them are above the 500k mark.

There are some really cheap houses in Brooklyn Park, like this one

That’s why I asked him/her to find a more comparable neighborhood with better schools.

With regards to rent in MM, jstoesz, that doesn’t look fraudulent at all. Rent have been going for around $1700-1800 for a 3/2 or 4/2 for the last several years now. BTW, if you want cheap rent in SD, don’t look at MM. You should either be looking at South Bay, O-side, Vista, Escondido, or east county. MM is not expensive but it’s not cheap either.
