I have a neighbor who makes everyone he disagrees with or dislikes out to be a monster. Sooner or later he disagrees with and dislikes everyone…Sounds like you do that to a degree as well.

Most people, regardless of ideology are just about half way decent not too much better and not too much worse than that. I think it helps to lower expectations and just have discussions here and let it go sometimes. Better yet, be willing to concede after a weak point in your presentation then you will be in a better position to challenge the weak points the rest of us make.
By the way, I like a lot of your input to the blog…
and some of that of your detractors as well.
