I don’t know….seems to me that if everything was left the same but the speed limit dropped to 5 mph, there would be fewer deaths. Speed has to have *something* to do with traffic deaths…[/quote]

Agreed speed has something to do with it. I just think there are larger issues on the highways. Speeding in residential is a whole different issue.
