Participantcertainly dont want to irritate Him in the extremely unlikely event he exists by my presumptuously spelling out His name. same reason i wear a yarmulke.
i mean, come on, obviously all religion is a giant scam, and G-d is a creation of our own anxiety and need to belong to a group that excludes others, and a need to control each other, but one never knows. it’s maybe possible He exists…in some Universe of the infinite universes, an angry G-d who doesnt speak or apparently care about human suffering is angered by the uncovered head or his name spelled out and had a kid who he conspired to torture or at least failed to protect in orderto save our eternal souls, through some leap in logic which only nakes sense if you believe, even though its crazy sounding on the surface of it…torturw, zombie jesus, miracles..
based on pascals wager we should probably all just sincerely believe everything is true though. so i accept Him as my personal savior, praise allah. also, ill keep koshe, just in case. .
but not sure that will technically work .
anyway costco closes on easter. pretty irritating. i believe in Jesus, but theres nothing in scripture about shutting down commerce in Gods chosen nation on Easter.

i definitely agree with G-d that a fetus isnt a person and killing one should be punishable by a fine.
G-d, aka jesus, said it pretty clearly in Exodus 21:22‑23, where Scripture states: “When men fight and one of them pushes a pregnant woman and a miscarriage results, but no other misfortune ensues, the one responsible shall be fined as the woman’s husband may exact from him, the payment to be based on judges’ reckoning.

ParticipantThe biggest problem with pascals wager: there is more than one g-d in the world and they don’t agree with each other. Plus some are super jealousy when you believe in other g-d.
But on the positive side, life is too damn hard and sometimes you do need miracles from multiples g-ds, which can help you to create multiple conflicting stories to get through it.

What’s the difference between ridiculing people of Christian faith over a blog, hurling insults at such religion, and religious people, spitting and pissing on what probably matters a lot to them…versus hurling a bunch of stereotypes and a vulgarities about a say an Latino or African American or Muslim?
Is this sort of ridicule here on this thread *that* much different than Donald Trump’s ridicule and disdain for Muslims, or have we all sunken to an all time low across the board?

Being Latino or African American is beyond one’s control.
As far as Muslims, people like Trump don’t question the belief in god per se — they believe Islam is evil and disparage cultures associated with Islam. And they apply guilt by association to whole populations. The Trumpistas just need the same rule applied to them in return.
