The legislative pay raise measure sounded good until I considered the politics that would result: assemblycritters would have incentive to compromise on anything, no matter how bad it is for the state.
The rest of the measures just kick the can down the road and fail to address the underlying problems.

A friend did the same thing but 1F is as much of a sham as the rest. It’s a feel good measure with no real teeth.
The message you should have sent is “Do your f****ng jobs and quit sending us propositions” by voting no on everything. Want to make sure that legislators don’t get a pay raise when we have a deficit? Fire them when they come up for election for their part in the deficit and put in someone else.

Props were guaranteed to lose because Govinator left the state today for a week. Easy to predict after the massive tax rally in Corona on Sat.
Voters say no way, all go down except 1F, which will force these sharks to vote on anything to get paid.
I expect in the real election I expect in the real election there will be a lot more “did not vote” but it will be interesting to see if this reflects the overall results of those who do vote.

Granted I voted first thing in the morning (about 8:30) but the poll workers seemed almost stunned when I walked in and as I was watching as they flipped through the voter role to find my name I did not notice a single vote signature on any of the pages. So in the real elections I think that “did not vote” will win buy a landslide

Voted no on everything except Voted no on everything except the diversion of funds from the mental health fund (temporary). That one made some sense to me. If the state has accounts that are in surplus the money should be shifted to other programs. It won’t stop the cuts and layoffs that are going to happen anyway.
