Since I am currently hunting, I will be able to reference your link to figure out seismic danger! I’m at a low-moderate risk area.
Someone also posted a link to the fire hazard zones before (whom, I forgot). That basically showed the entire area I am hunting in a scarlet ultimate-fire-hazard-zone red.

ParticipantI know that when that clip was presented casually at work a couple of months back, all the engineers got a kick out of it.
We all take pride of our Knack!
However, I don’t think that type of Knack translates to home repairs for me, sadly.

ParticipantI am definitely over the college phase and want to adamantly avoid the UTC area.
I’m currently renting a room in someone else’s home, and would rather be on the other end of the stick. I wanted to position myself in a place where I can still financially make the mortage+tax+HOA/etc if needed but if I rent out the other room I am paying closer to what I am currently paying for rent.
The $200-300k range puts me in that position.
Since work from sun up to sun down most days, I wont be there to be as annoyed by any roommate. If I found someone who is barely there, of course that would be the ideal situation!
I would definitely also consider the Scripts Ranch area. I was just a bit more timid because it is closer to Miramar and the jets.
