Perhaps a simpler answer might be… give her more than 2 days to respond. Yes, it’s a buyer’s market, but giving more than 2 days to respond to email is not unrealistic on a professional level. It may very well be that she’s not interested, but it appears you may be jumping the gun a bit in making that assumption. All ‘good’ business is a 2 way street, even if buyer’s are in a position of leverage right now.
toddtParticipantAgreed that selling is much different than buying. Comes down to negotiating skills in my opinion when buying.
As for selling, I like the value a good realtor provides in terms of market knowledge and marketing, especially in this market.

toddtParticipantBreeze – this is where your emotions get the best of you and you go into your pschizo double-posts…
You’re only stated reason for raising taxes on those who make more than 250k is because it’s more than you make. There has to be a more elegant argument you can make here. If not, then stop trying.
Maybe to stimulate your thinking, here’s mine… A progressive income tax tied to cost of living by MSA. This is not what we have. Our current tax system does not accomodate cost of living indices in the slightest, even at the state level. It leaves folks making 250k in CA at a much lower, albeit better than middle-class, standard of living than 250k earners in TX. The 250k number is arbitrary, and this same school of thought holds true at all income levels. Even yours. This is why you should expand your thinking on this.

toddtParticipantBreeze – I usually find your posts insightful and generally well thought out, but this time you’ve fallen short. To say “tax the hell” out of the that bracket is one of your more stupid comments because it lacks any of the pragmatism and logic you generally have in your posts. It’s an emotional reaction, with little or no thoughtful input. Do you have any thoughtful input on this subject?
