Hi,
I have a msi u100.
The only question I can answer is on the size side since not the brand you are considering.
I LOVE the small size, it is so easy to handle. .
I like my Netbook over a standard PC because it doesn’t fry me when I have it in my lap.
The battery, as usual never lasts as long as they say but they last much longer than a standard PC. Mine is supposed to last 6 hours but lasts 2 and a half hours.
It is unbelievably portable.
Everyone I talk to about it says the same thing. “I don’t think I would like it because the screen would be too small”. NOT TRUE.

You said it so so well.
The Fed is acting like they are in control because what is the alternative? If they were to say the truth all hell would break lose.
Again well said.
I would like to counter that it is not too late to buy Gold. Gold will rise far faster than the impending inflation. If you are timid of Gold any commodity for the most part will suffice. The only thing is you need a very very strong stomach. Traders control the commodity markets day to day so volatility is huge. Traders do not control long term. Silver and Palladium or both possibilities.
Real Estate will also be a great hiding place for your wealth, eventually. That said, I still wouldn’t touch S.D. real estate at these bubble prices.
I am in the top 5% of income and assets yet I can responsibly only own a shack (relative) in S.D.. By responsible I mean buying outright.
Of course I could sell my soul to the bank and get that dream home but I am not that kinda guy.

sobmazParticipantI was never guilty of Obama Euphoria, however I thought he was a refreshing change so I voted for him.
I will not vote for him again unless he radically changes his ways.
He has quickly shown his colors and they are that of just another politician, typical, nothing special (of course even that is far superior than Bush).
I am a Democrat but I will not defend a bad politician like so many Republicans did for Bush no matter what he did. Even low level Republicans seem to be defended by Republican voters no matter how wrong they were about something.

sobmazParticipantDoes ANYONE really think the Gooberment will not extend the 8K credit?
In fact, I think unless prices are not rising by at least a 10% rate, it will probably be more than 8K next time.
When you do something you shouldn’t, it gets easier and easier to do again.
When we spend 2 trillion that we don’t have and nothing really happens, what’s the big deal? Why not spend 3 trillion? How about 4 trillion?
This madness will not end until there are serious repercussions for it.
