I don’t mind paying 200K less on a busy street if the windows and doors properly installed to mitigate the noise from RSF. 200K goes a long way on today’s economy.

sfexporterParticipantFLU,
I rented to a section 8 tenants when I had my investment property in Phoenix. I love section 8 because of the following:
-you get at most of the guarantee money from the gov
-tenant must keep the place in decent shape
-tenant can’t have illegal substance (drug)
-tenant can be removed from section if don’t comply so this automatically forced the tenant to be on their best behavior.
-tenant can’t trash your property because this will affect their ability to rent on the next property. You as the landlord, can check up their rental history.I love section 8 tenant!

sfexporterParticipantI too also found Costco meets are far better in quality comparing to the Asian markets. I avoid meats at Ranch 99 and only buy veggies and fresh swimming fish there.
If you want to shop at a clean Asian market in SD, then try Seafood City in Mira Mesa. The place looks much cleaner than Ranch 99 or Lucky Seafood (another Asian market within the area).
