SellingMyHomeParticipant
Not a plant at all. I was about to list with Battiata and was doing my due diligence researching his company. I did a search of Battitata Real Estate Complaints, and ended up here (found the BBB listing with no complaints by the way). I’ve been here before researching other things, so found this thread interesting.
I honestly will report back on my experience, trust me. If you don’t, please feel free to private message me, and we can talk in person.
I signed the listing agreement forms and sent them in to his team Monday morning. Still have not heard back about preparing for the listing, so that has concerned me a bit.
I’m very worried about selling my house as a short-sale, and want to avoid foreclosure. I picked his team because of the experience dealing with lenders.

SellingMyHomeParticipantI really can’t wait to find out. He has a team of about 15 people in his office (7 agents), I would hope he spreads the work around.

SellingMyHomeParticipantI’m selling my home, have just listed with Battiata, and after reading some of these comments, should be scared. BUT, then I did a search on the BBB, and there is not 1 complaint.
This must be because the neagtive comments are baseless. If they were indeed so bad, and even unethical, why won’t you put in a claim?
I’m about to sell my house as a short-sale, and will keep an eye on what battiata is up to. That is my job as a seller. I want my lender to approve my short-sale as quick as possible, so it is in my best interest to have the highest price possible, but in the shortest time possible.
I can’t imagine sellers would allow their agent to play extravagent games with their homes. I just can’t. I’m starting to wonder about these negative comments. When you buy a short-sale house, what do you expect? Of course they will start low to generate multiple offers, makes sense to me.
Anyways, I will check back here, and let you know how it went. If I was wrong, I will let you know, honestly. I have nothing to gain either way.
