If that Texana sale price went through, then that’s a lost of almost $100k in 3 years according to zillow. I hope the home sellers around that area take note of this sale.

The link.
SDcostalParticipantAre they like the courtyards at Del Sur?
SDcostalParticipantDel Sur’s not worth it. Expensive houses with no driveways and backyards. Who wants a courtyard?
SDcostalParticipantMr. Young, 200K already gets you a big house in metropolitans like Dallas and Houston already where I’m sure there are many jobs there. Also, Amarillo seems to be in the boonies of Texas. Many people in San Diego can’t afford a 650K house, so I don’t see how people in a desolate town of Texas can afford those mega mansions.
An example of a McMansion in Dallas:
SDcostalParticipantI was at Palisades today too. I didn’t see any traffic. It was dead really.
SDcostalParticipantOn Zip Realty, the HOA is listed as $80, which is quite low for a new development. Is that acccurate? I hope they have plans to expand that road out of SEH in the future.
SDcostalParticipantI visited SEH this past week and found the community “pleasant” and overpriced. Getting there is a pain in the butt. Anyone have any idea of how low this area could drop? The condos are priced around 400K will the houses start out around 600K.
SDcostalParticipantUTC looks to be really sinking right now judging by the number of listings on Zip Realty right now.
