Matt Stone and Trey Parker (of South Park fame). South Park is simply the best show on TV, for regularly and mercilessly blowing all the Republocrat nonsense out of the water.
Also, I second the rec on Taleb, and in particular The Black Swan. Now that should be required reading.

Matt Stone and Trey Parker (of South Park fame). South Park is simply the best show on TV, for regularly and mercilessly blowing all the Republocrat nonsense out of the water.

ParticipantPark at the Solana Beach train station for free, pay $11 round-trip on the Coaster. Make the connection on the trolley if you don’t want to walk from the station downtown (but it’s not that far).
If your conference runs later than the last north-bound Coaster, I suspect you could just use the trolley directly and park for free elsewhere (e.g. parking for free at the Q for Padres games).

ParticipantYour math is a little off. It is currently a 10 minute drive prior to the extension opening. On Tuesday I guess it’ll be what, 7 or 8 minutes?
