Participantpizza man….don’t feel to bad…I sold my oceanfront on hoonani road for $550,000.When my friends over there start taking real estate to me now,I start LA LA LA LAing into the phone….din’t want to hear it….gives me that funny feeling in the gut….you know what I mean???

Participantfat lazy union….My point was not the fright of living thru thru the disasters,I’ve lived thru my share,but rather how it will effect ones investment over time.In the good old days the insurance companies passed out checks like candy makeing everyone whole.Things have changed big time in the insurance industry,they are passing the burden back on the homeowners shoulders.My concern is being able to rebuild after an earthquake or flood,since the insurance companies will do everthing in there power not to pay!Thats all…
