nostradamusParticipantIs this another way of asking “what’s a good investment to make”?
It’s different for each person. I’m assuming you have at least $35k to spend, based on your comments about cars, pools, and vacations. If you have a lot of time to put into it, IMO a self-run business is always your best investment. Otherwise put it in a CD for a while and forget about it.
Or you can always go hookering.

nostradamusParticipantThere are a lot of jobs out there, son. Just not in San Diego!
I do think everyone should move to Seattle. For sure. Tell your friends!

nostradamusParticipant
I want fun! I’ve been driving SUV’s for about 20 years and I hate them. I’m sick of them. I’ll keep the one I got cause its paid for but I want something fun in the garage. Something to drive about 5,000 miles a year for the next 10 years that will put a smile on my face on day 1 and on day 3,650. I could care less about trunk. The smaller the better as I dont want to have to carry anyone’s crap in it.
I was in the same boat but on a different budget so I sold my Honda CRV and bought a Mazda Speed 3. It’s ghetto zippy in da hood (the hood being Calle Cristobal, Cam. Santa Fe) but can carry lots of stuff (hatchback). You can buy two for the price of one Z4!nostradamusParticipant
I want fun!
