Yes. I thought he was joking about holding your offer back since yours was a higher amount;) Maybe we need a Pigg property tracker to keep Piggs from working against the price pull down.
As a mortgage broker, he was the one the bank talked to more than the Listing Agent. The bank said no to our first offer and we agreed to a counter at x%ofBPO (Thanks for your help on understanding BPOs). Then it sat and had the trustee sale postponed twice, because no one needed to get my offer past a desk. I felt it was still to high given how prices will drop and the amount of work needed. No permit for unfinished work.. I am sure you know what work.
In the end, I firmly believe that if you are not embarassed to make the offer than it is too high… since you might be the only one bidding on a house that needs a lot of work.
I might not be “Moovan” for awhile, but look forward to being neighboors.
Also, you might recall I posted about having problems with my realtor/broker. It was more with the broker, but he left working at the major name office right by the wendy’s… any idea why?

MoovanOnUpParticipantI am just happy to see the price come down. I hope Caminito Pudregal will help set the comps, but I think it took a year before it became an REO. I had the offer on a nearby house, but it was way too long of a process on a good offer. In the end I will be waiting for a year or two before I splash back, but I hope these are not prone to flips as much as homes for a better price if you can do some work. But, I do enjoy hearing your take on the market and houses near you.

MoovanOnUpParticipantI am sorry you feel that way. I thought exactly opposite by thinking people would feel I was facilitating those who are stripping these houses bare. I would be willing to buy the appliances if these people stole from themselves before it went to the bank.
Take a look at Craigslist. I choose a nice one to post. Some are offering to give you the sink if you come this weekend with cash before they move.
What initially started this is the short sale we are considering has a lot of recently purchased appliances, but not even the really old things would be considered for sale with the house.MoovanOnUpParticipantI am sorry you feel that way.
