If one doesn’t have the money for instruction and still want to give child math skills, just download Mathematica 9.0, free for 30 days. Might be particularly useful to kids that want to build robots.
moneymakerParticipantHire a firm that specializes in evictions then don’t let the next nanny be a live in.
moneymakerParticipantSeems to me that inventory is growing with more price reductions than price increases. This tells me that the state of the real estate market is deflating. I think the bubble has been pricked! Of course Zillow says otherwise at least in my zip code. Perhaps Zillow is a lagging indicator like Case-Shiller.
moneymakerParticipantI always took summer school classes voluntarily, but that was a time before internet. Now I would probably rather write an AI program, you know the kind where you just write the kernel and the rest writes itself.
moneymakerParticipantHas anyone ever licked the back of a toad to get high?
moneymakerParticipantSignificance of “1984”, no it’s not the government spying on us, but the number of ounces in a keg. After a keg who cares about the government anyway.
moneymakerParticipantI’m a recycling type, tired of crushing cans or lugging bottles, so I’m going to have to go keg next time I buy beer. Anyone know who has the best keg selection in town, I’m talking mini keg, the kind you can put in a frig/mini frig.
moneymakerParticipantHere’s a link to the first page, http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2014/May/30/piggington-blog-realestate-housing-bubble-loans/?#article-copy ,nice short read. Rich I thought you bought in 2010.
moneymakerParticipantCompanies have laid off, paid dividends to prop up stock price, and yet are still struggling with earnings. I think we are entering the shape up/down phase where the strong survive and the weak go bankrupt. Mergers coming along with people willing to accept less pay and cutting their budgets more. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer while the government does nothing to balance things out. Labor was 25% of the bill for me to get solar, I think 10-20% would be healthier for our economy.
moneymakerParticipantMy power was interrupted yesterday (planned outage) and it really sucked that I could not use my solar array. Had to actually break out the stand by generator after power being off more than 8 hours. The good news is that as of 7:48 AM this morning I am once again feeding back into the grid (meter is turning backward).
moneymakerParticipantEven if financing over say 10 years, when you factor in the 30% tax credit, subtract out inflation, as long as one gets financing in the 4-5% range the tax credit off sets the cost of financing. I believe this is why Solar City can do it. Of course I think they finance around 10% if you want to purchase, that way they actually make money!
moneymakerParticipantI’d say Costco is probably one of the safest places to buy gas. Stay away from stations that don’t sell much gas, as they tend to collect water in their tanks from the tanks being lower in fuel and moisture condensing on the tank walls over night
moneymakerParticipantDriving around I see plenty of houses for sale, especially recently. It’s not uncommon to not find the house on sdlookup or zillow, does that count as shadow inventory?
moneymakerParticipantMy PV produced 43.2 kWh today, that’s a savings of $13.39 for one day.
