If it is public property that the oil is under then it should belong to the people and sold at market price to whoever is willing to bring it up out of the ground. If private property then the pool belongs to the people who own the property above it. Since it is a poor country best thing is to bring the oil up out of the ground as quickly as possible so that the wealth can be used for the good of the owners of the land and spread to others. Money is like manure, it is only good if you spread it around.
moneymakerParticipantChecked out CoinHaus during La Mesa Octoberfest and it was interesting. Only spent about $8 and sampled a bunch of beers, only liked a few, they were out of the root beer flavored beer and the wine was too expensive for me to try, $1.79/oz.
October 1, 2016 at 9:37 AM in reply to: Potential pitfalls of going into Escrow with Investors/Cash Buyers #801715moneymakerParticipantThe house we bought fell out of escrow which enabled us to get a free termite tenting. Have no idea who “they” were but they beat us to the punch initially but we won eventually. Looking back we really scored when we bought our house. Now the wife is looking again though. I feel like she is cheating on our house, maybe I’m too emotionally involved. Started with a 4.75% 30 year, now in a 2.625% 15 year.
moneymakerParticipantI like Mitt, even though I’m a registered Demo. Like Mitt I probably won’t be voting for president this time around.
moneymakerParticipantGood article reinforces how I feel about the lack of starter homes (especially new ones) in San Diego.
moneymakerParticipantDon’t feel too bad Rich because I just realized the CA lottery site is not secure either. A lot of people confuse logging in with being secure, 2 different things. When I had jury duty last week the site to access the internet in the jury lounge required a log in but was not secure on the wifi side. So you have wifi, logging in,and secure/not secure websites. All 3 are different and pose a risk if there is a hacker involved.
moneymakerParticipantInteresting read, never thought about the pet problem that people have when sheltering. Have noticed a lot of pan handlers with dogs, I guess they are not staying in a shelter.
moneymakerParticipantJust to set the record straight I’m not obese, just over weight according to the BMI chart. Also I’m not really worried about getting cancer (too many other things to worry about). The article does make a lot of sense as the rise in cancer does seem to correspond to the rise in obesity, at least here in the US. Not sure about other countries. I have a mountain bike which is fun to ride, probably a little more dangerous than the treadmill, I did almost fall off once and had not even been drinking.
moneymakerParticipantYep, time to hit the treadmill!
moneymakerParticipantNice chart svelte!
Great, one more thing to worry about, in today’s paper on page B7, sorry could not link it, article that states
evidently there is a link between obesity and cancer.moneymakerParticipantI’m surprised to hear you say that spdrun because I thought you were all about privacy. Even redfin is secure now which is why it doesn’t load from piggington anymore. The only thing secure on the site is the google link that counts visits. You might want to read the link article, starting in Jan 2017 you will be warned about the site not being secure. I’m not a programmer but I do notice trends when I see them.
moneymakerParticipantI feel your pain kev374. Just looked on SDLookup and it’s pretty sad that most starter houses that are “affordable” have window units, single pane windows, no garage, old appliances, with tons of deferred maintenance i.e. they look like they have been rental units for some time. Lucky for me I bought when the buying was good, right now it seems like a bubble to me. P.S.- most of the ways I think up of making more money border on the illegal side which is not worth it either. Many people are living with 3 hots and a cot because they made poor decisions but I would not recommend that route.
moneymakerParticipantVegan definitely sounds healthy and I’m always amazed when I see vegan bodybuilders. I have a new theory that in the morning when getting up all the sugars are gone and the liver is starting to burn lipids but what most people do is eat breakfast which then shuts down the lipid (fat) burning, so I might go against traditional knowledge and start skipping breakfast and not eating until I really feel the hunger pangs, I rarely feel hungry when I awake unless I have a small dinner early the night before.
moneymakerParticipantI personally have never had an issue with a password reset. But I’ve never had to deal with it in the Apple universe before. Just seems kinda moronic for Apple to expect someone to be able to log into an account that they don’t have the password for. By the way I’m talking about an icloud account.
Ok, maybe I’m the brain dead one, I had no idea that any email address in the Universe could be The Apple ID. -
