Yep -See Zillow: 365K not two months ago…
http://www.zillow.com/HomeDetails.htm?zprop=16948301
And I love that Zillow values it at 492K
Zillow is quickly becoming useless… at valuation.

Mark HolmesParticipantYeah, I’m familiar with that one. I live right around the corner. It’s a flip. The elderly woman who used to live there died this past summer, went up for sale within weeks. Whoever bought it spent maybe a couple months fixing it up, added a deck out front, re-did the floors, put on a coat of paint. Nothing else done as far as I can see. And if I recall correctly from Zillow, the flippers paid 365K for it. Crazy, considering the market and the tiny size of the house – it has no yard at all, about three feet of grass all around the back and sits on a corner. The interior is also laid out like a maze, where you have to walk through rooms to get to others. Very strange. I have a hard time imagining they can get even their minimum bid. There are four houses in better shape within blocks of it that could be had for 350K or less. And honestly, having lived in the neighborhood for seven years, nothing in this neighborhood (except for the rare custom on a canyon) should be over 250K. I would think that this little house will be worth maybe 150K by 2011, if not sooner. Although, I must admit, I love the neighborhood, except for the weekly police helicopters with the megaphones…

Mark HolmesParticipantI have no idea. I honestly thought the buyers would come back out today. It’s purely academic for me as I have no money in the market, but it’s a little disturbing watching this evolve into almost a panic.

Mark HolmesParticipantThat’s good advice as well… I guess it all depends on your financial situation.
