KCTxrParticipantWe jsut had a bad batch of Costco steaks, must not have been processed correctly at the plant. Safe to eat, just the flavor was off. Going to wait another week, then go another round. Outside of the specialty butcher shops, that is what we found the best bang for the raw buck.
The Butchershop and the one next too it were good that last time I was there for lunch. Have not tried Donovan’s yet. Maybe I better do some savings. After coming out here with the kids, they all like the Chart House. Wife just said they are not really much for steaks around here.
Yes, In KC, there are lots (Joe Montana said KC restaurants not close to bay area cuisine,(15 years ago)) so I won’t ramble too much.
Jess & Jim’s in KC – Martin City, not much atmosphere, be a big good cow for not much $. The old Hereford House downtown KC….and several variations on BBQ.
Then, take SW to Chicage for $99 and pick one of many.
I guess I didn’t have a good answer for the question, but I am reading to find ones to try.
