If the price of this home was about $250K in 1996-1997 and normal(?) appreciation were to continue to 2011 what do you think the house would be worth today given there was no bubble? Was appreciation normally 4-7%?

We are not paying full cash, 20% down only. Do you think the upcoming mortgage resets/recasts are going to have big negative impact on prices?
