Thank you for your true story since I am about to look for a new place. There are so many terrible greedy immoral people out there. We really have to be very careful. I feel sorry for you losing your deposit. If Linda was really being betrayed by his ex-boyfirend (kids dad), I feel very sorry for her also.
However, I don’t know if you can trust Linda. If the houses are all under Linda’s name, how could Paul rent them out and collect the rent? Linda has lawyer and sister. It seems like she has legal support. Are the houses under linda’s own name or linda & Paul’s names? It’s possible that they all are a whole team. But it’s only my guess.

Thank you for the update!!!! The stock price dropped 60% this year. The house price will have the same drop. According to the ugly foreclosing data, the house prices will drop much faster than last time house downfall cycle since the houses are extremely overpriced, especially in CA.
