Two sites that I found might help, but the whole thing is confusing to me, too…
http://realestate.msn.com/buying/article_busweek.aspx?cp-documentid=5840805
http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2007/12/07/bushs-bailout-bait-and-switch.aspx
The MSN is more to the point, but the FOOL article provides a lot of other things to think about.
It would be interesting to read other pieces of literature that defines this term according to the actual bailout plan.

h82rentParticipantI’d never claim that I’m smart, but I have two engineering degrees, and I got picked to serve both times I got called(eminent domain and rock cocaine). Not sure about demographics being the deciding factor, either. Once I was married, once I was not. Once I was one political party, once I was non-delcared. I honestly think that it has more to do with if you can miss a good amount of time. With my company, a two-week stint is no problem…. they’ll allow it, and the court knows it.
I will say this, the one person who got sent home (after the judge and lawyers screend her prior to making their final selections), claimed that she already thought the person was guilty, and would not change her mind. The judge and lawyers explained and grilled her about the “innocent until proven guilty” concept. She said she didn’t care, that her mind was made up. And off to home she went, fully serving her duty.
I was also a foreman once. And in my anal-organized way, I charted out all the things we needed to base our decision on, and the verdict became very obvious. We deliberated for all of a half or three-quarters of a day, and there were intially a lot of people on the fence.
Just FYI.

h82rentParticipantWasn’t going to bother posting, but since back pain is a huge part of my life, I’ll offer my $0.02.
I’m an active guy… biking, running, lifting, gym cardio and even ice hockey. Believe it or not, the more active, the better I feel. Sitting in an office, and unfortunately, sleeping are both horrible.
I do think I injured it surfing… during the pop-up motion. I hurt it bad once and it lasted about a year. I tried again, and it’s hurt ever since (over two).
The pain originates in my lower back, and when it’s bad, will run down my sciatic nerve, down the back of my right leg, and actually wrap around to the top of my foot. It’s so painful.
Doctors were terrible. Chiropractors were hit or miss (the regular back-crackers were worthless, but I went to one who did A.R.T. (active release therapy), and I felt much better). Xrays and MRIs revealed nothing… well, maybe, maybe not… nobody could say for sure. Accupuncture didn’t work for me. Massage helped a bit. Yoga helps a TON… can’t say enough about it. Traditional stretching helps. I bought a home inversion-table, which helps too.
Anyway, I hope those things that I mentioned that worked and didn’t work can help some of you. If you have any questions about those things, I’d be happy to answer.
I sleep on an older (wow, now 14 years old) spring bed. I need to upgrade to a firmer mattress myself, and all the comments here helped. Thank you.
Oh, and since no doctors could diagnose my problem, I diagnosed myself as having piriformis syndrome.
