The upside of that would be that after you’re done, I would write you a nifty little check saying, “pay to the order of futureprez”. If you do a good enough job, you might even be able to get some sex.

something caught my eye in your post.. my girlfriend and I both make a lot of money.. but guess who controls the household finances.. its me….
Frankly speaking.. if she wants to buy something ( other than food and necessary household items and clothes), she has to tell me why that item is needed.. (gifts during xmas are exceptions)
To say… I do not allow impulse buying.. although she hates it, she agrees with me..
we have unified finances and set budget and I do not allow spending more than the budget..
To say.. Yes.. I write a check ” pay to the order of my girlfriend”..
That way our finances have been kept extremely healthy..And I am the CFO and CIO (chief investment officer) of our $$$
