You saw what Wall Street did today, even before the final vote was cast!! Those pirates were jumping ship, or more accurately, were like Rats scattering for the exits! So much for helping out the American economy – they were bailing!
I appreciate the work done to do “something”, but so grateful for the bi-partisan Representatives who listened to the American people, and opposed this “CRAP“ bailout bill.
As I’ve always believed, it’s better to have “no friends” than to have “bad ones”. Maybe that applies to THIS bill . . . better to have “no bill” than to have a “bad one.”
Real fundamentals here we come, one way or another.

DaisyDukeParticipantCount me in on the money savings! Since learning of this site in late 2006 I have saved $200,000 EASILY. More importantly, I was saved from making a HUGE financial mistake that would follow me until I die!
Thank you Professor and all you Piggingtonians for sharing your knowledge and experience!

DaisyDukeParticipantThe colors aren’t so horrible and the place looks decent, but, it is true, neutral is far better.
The problem, the price per square foot is still tooooo high. Get it somewhere around the $260 per square foot and he might get an offer. I’m not sure what that reduction works out to, but these buyers want a deal.
Also, your friend needs to watch the other condos/homes that are for sale in the vicinity and keep his price (reasonably) below the others in that area, at all times.
Now of course, you are hearing that from someone who does not know the San Diego market at all. So this is probably a worthless read.
Best wishes to your friend.

DaisyDukeParticipantMy father-in-law died on 9/18 and my mother died 10/8 … I’ve been up to my ears in death and funerals and this was the first time I have been able to look at pigingtons in weeks since I’ve been up to my ears in ICU and tubes down the throat, etc.
When I saw this “conspiracy thread” , knowing full well it isn’t reality, I realized, you know, I’m not really not into reality right now — I’d like a bit of fantasy and escape. For some reason I am in need of a bit of humor right now and the conspiracy theory just made me laugh and laugh … guess there’s a place for everything.
Remember, it’s just a house. Look at those you have to hug and hold, waaaaaay more important than the housing market.
Probably going batty . . . Daisy
