Its an investment bank and may be caving into the popular practice of massaging facts to satisfy its own corporate fortune.
CS had published that piece that has been referenced here to a large degree (time line for ARM resets…) showing some level of transparency. But, I don’t know if transparency was its intent.
With last year’s stocks down http://www.credit-suisse.com/us/en/ they could be pressured to join the fanancial party line.
Let’s hope for no global depression. I like warm showers and having a bed to sleep in…

Maybe the republican’s bailout is a thinly vieled attempt to help their Builder lobbyists to ease the burden to some degree.
Maybe its just political jockeying that tries to make the effort look like something’s being done on the surface, but underneath, its just a drop in the bucket.
